Read My Bible Daily
Why should I read the Bible every day? The Bible is more than a book or collection of stories. It is God’s living word (Hebrews 4:12). In and through it. God makes Himself and His will known to us. It is a guide for our lives (Psalm 119:105) and is beneficial to us in countless other ways (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
What Is a good way to read/study my Bible?
Begin by setting aside the same time & place with the fewest distractions. Aim for 10-15 minutes then gradually increase over time. Use the SPECKA method to read, analyze, understand, and use the Bible's truths in your life. Each time you read a Bible passage ask yourself the 6 SPECKA questions and record your answers in a notebook or journal:
-
S = Is there a Sin to avoid?
-
P = Is there a Promise to claim?
-
E = ls there an Example to follow?
-
C = Is there a Command to obey?
-
K = Is there any Knowledge to remember about God/Jesus? About people?
-
A = How will I Apply the truths to my life this week? With whom will | share them?

It is okay if you cannot find an answer for every question in the passage you read.
Where do | start?
