Jesus gave us our mission in Matthew 28, and our vision is our road to achieve that mission. In Matthew 9:36 we see the key to following our mission... compassion for the lost around us.

Matthew 26:69-75 The story of Peter on Thursday into Friday is our story as well... relying on ourselves, blowing it when eyes are on us, and making the wrong choices, but as always it comes down to Jesus.

James 4:13-17 As we saw with our graduate recognition, we all have plans. We have plans for the afternoon, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year... but do we involve God in those plans? James tells us it is arrogance to deny God's sovereignty by doing as we please instead of seeking His guidance through prayer and the Holy Spirit.
